This exercise is designed to give the student some experience using MS Word text box and drawing options.

  1. Open a blank MS Word document
  2. Using the following link, select the text from which every Monty Python's Flying Circus sketch you chose to use as text for your document. You only need one page of text, so feel free to delete any text over one page.

  3. Select the text from the web page and cut and paste it into your document.
  4. Then, following your instructor's directions add the following items to your Word document
    • A text box with your name
    • A text box, with a different border from the first text box, with your major
    • One text box with a banner border containing your home state
    • Place at least one arrow pointing at one word in the document's text.
    • At least two other text boxes of your choosing.
  5. When you are done, print out your document and turn it in.
